Thirteen common items drop throughout the campaign. Their power ranges from 1 up to a stat-specific maximum. Found most efficiently on the Battle at You Ting (Wu side, Hard difficulty) per Muni Shinobu's original FAQ.
Rare Red Equipment
Special-effect items that only need to be obtained once. Their border is red instead of blue. Some are unavailable on Novice difficulty in Xtreme Legends with Mixjoy per the original FAQ.
