A warrior reforged.The original Dynasty Warriors 3 first shattered the battlefield on September 20, 2001 — the third entry in the franchise that defined the modern Musou genre and the first to introduce True Musou Attacks, two-player simultaneous play, and the officer development system. A million-seller and a launchpad for a series that still commands the field twenty-five years later.
The Complete Edition Remastered rebuilds that foundation in Unreal Engine 5. Every stage is here. Every officer returns — all forty plus the secret duo Fu Xi and Nu Wa — joined by Dynasty Warriors: Origins protagonist Ziluan as a guest warrior. The classic moveset meets three new systems: Evasion with a perfectly-timed Just Evasion counterattack, Perfect Power Guard that punishes mistimed aggression, and Weapon Fusion, a new crafting system that lets you forge ultimate weapons by consuming unwanted ones and carrying forward their elements and skills.

New. Refined. Familiar.Evasion
A new defensive action lets players dodge enemy attacks or temporarily withdraw from the battlefield. Executing a dodge with perfect timing triggers a "Just Evasion", a powerful counterattack.
Perfect Power Guard
Refines the classic "Power Guard" mechanic. Timing it correctly deflects an enemy attack and provides an opportunity to counterattack and stun opponents.
Weapon Fusion
A new crafting system that lets players forge ultimate weapons by consuming unwanted weapons and transferring their elemental attributes and skills to other weapons.
New Scenarios
Challenging new scenarios featuring numerous officers that can be obtained by meeting specific conditions have been added, allowing fans to explore the story of the original title alongside new additions.
Classic / Normal Settings
All newly added features can be individually toggled on or off. The "Classic Settings" option reproduces the original experience; "Normal Settings" applies the recommended settings for the remastered version.
Offline 2-Player Mode
The beloved offline 2-player mode from the original returns. Musou Mode, Free Mode, and VS Mode can all be played in split screen — team up against powerful enemies or test your might against each other.
Weapon Fusion — in detail
Weapon Fusion is a new crafting system in DW3: Complete Edition Remastered. Forge ultimate weapons by consuming unwanted weapons and transferring their elemental attributes and skills to other weapons.
